With every competition you gain something, because you either win a medal or you win a lesson, and I feel like sometimes winning a lesson is more valuable than winning a medal. Ahead of a huge summer for women's sport, we're back with the biggest ever season of the Game Changers, launching across all podcast platforms on June the 18th. I'm Sue Anstiss, the host of the Game Changers, which features fearless women in sport who are knocking down barriers and challenging the status quo as they openly share their journeys and learnings. We explore key issues around equality in sport and beyond. The 10 issues in this bumper season include Olympians, paralympians, world and European Champions, coaches, presidents and CEOs. It's also the most diverse series in terms of the sports we feature, with guests from athletics, cricket, climbing, diving, golf, ice skating, motor racing, rugby, tennis, triathlon and weightlifting. Sandi Proctor:So rather than go out there and only campaign for ourselves, we went out there and campaigned for each other and joined in every male conversation that we could find. Then we talked about the others in our women's group. That made the guys realise that the others were good as well. I think it worked.
Emily Campbell:You know, one day I was squatting with the boys and the next day I was out squatting them and I was like, oh, maybe I'm actually quite good at this and I've always been a person that's always tried to push limits. I'm not really that scared to fail. Failing is part of learning.
